While the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) reported 2,900 jobs lost in March, the unemployment rate holds steady at 3.7 percent. That’s below the national average.

Employment is strongest in professional and business services and manufacturing, according to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Education and health services, construction and hospitality were down.
